Timothy Lee McCormick
Timothy Lee McCormick passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the age of 66.
Born on Jan. 9, 1959, in Chattanooga, Tim was the beloved son of the late Willie and Flossie Ellen Ables McCormick.
A proud graduate of Red Bank High School, Tim was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for his family. Throughout his life, he touched many hearts with his warmth, humor, and generosity.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Flossie McCormick, and an aunt, Viola Young.
He is survived by his ex-wife and friend, Shirley McCormick; his loving daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Zack Neal; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of family and friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
Tim will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 26, and Friday, June 27, from 4-7 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, in the chapel. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
