Ron Miller, 83, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025.

Born on October 18, 1941, in Chattanooga to Bill and Sarah Miller of White Oak.

After graduating from Red Bank High School and attending Tennessee Tech University, Ron proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, spending four years in service with much of that time stationed in Japan.

Returning home to Chattanooga, Ron spent his career of 40 years with GAF/BASF Polymer Plant, where he worked in management until retirement. After retirement he enjoyed working outdoors and was a certified Master Gardner.

Ron was also a devoted member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church, where he was an active member of the Charis Sunday School class.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Anne Miller; two sons, Chad Miller, of London England and Joel Miller, of Chattanooga; and brother, Steve Miller, of Chattanooga.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Janice, Courtney, and Michelle of Guiding Grace Personal Care Home who took such good care of Ron during his last days.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 25, at 12:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors with Rev. Mark Smith officiating.

Pallbearers will be George Hixson, Patrick Brandon, Paul Roddy, Michael Webb, Bryce Burris, and Jon Jordan.
