Lila Lee Arp, 97, of East Brainerd, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

A longtime resident of Chattanooga, Mrs. Arp was a 1946 graduate of Rossville High School.

She retired from Combustion Engineering Co., after many years of service and was a member of Concord Baptist Church.

Mrs. Arp was preceded in death by her husband, Ray N. Arp, Sr.; parents, Lee and Florence Mathis; and two brothers, Dr. Murray Mathis and Paul Norris Mathis.

She is survived by her son, Ray N. Arp Jr., of Chattanooga.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20, at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Dr. William Horton and Dr. Leroy Spinks officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 23, at 1 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
