Leeco Steel’s Brandon, SD facility celebrates nine years accident-free
Leeco Steel announced that eight of its distribution and processing centers, including Chattanooga, have reached significant accident-free safety milestones in Q1 and Q2 of 2025. These milestones include:
Brandon, SD - 9 years (January 1)
Houston - 11 years (January 20)
Chattanooga, TN - 9 years (January 27)
Ambridge, PA - 8 years (March 2)
Monterrey, NL, MX - 13 years (April 1)
Oshkosh, WI - 9 years (April 20)
Joshua, TX - 2 years (May 17)
Portage, IN - 13 years (June 1)
These milestones are a reflection of Leeco Steel’s commitment to workplace safety and the dedication of its teams across North America, said officials.
“Safety isn’t a one-time achievement, it’s something we recommit to every single day,” said Denton Nordhues, president and CEO of Leeco Steel. “These milestones represent thousands of hours of teamwork, vigilance and doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. It’s an incredible accomplishment for every individual involved.”
Leeco achieved being accident-free at all ten plant facilities in 2024. The company hopes to celebrate safety milestones at its remaining two facilities later in the year.
