The voters in this country have the best interests in their hearts when they vote. The issue with that first sentence is the voters often do not know either the candidate or the issues. That is tragic and the blame rests with the politicians. They know the voters are not well read nor educated. They know that a good baby kissing politician win votes.
Trump ran and won the presidency. Have you asked what his political platform is? His last go at the office of the president offered us a nearly $8 trillion added to the national debt. But what did he do and what is his platform for the voters this time? Our real problem in this country is not the politicians, but the uneducated voter.
The public schools should have required classes in politics and elementary children should be immersed in the voting process and what is gained by voting for the favorite. The uneducated voter can and will be played by someone running for office. He/she knows this voter is ignorant. We are to blame for the quality of characters we place in offices of great importance.
