The Lookouts and Trash Pandas were finally able to complete a baseball game on Thursday evening with the Lookouts coming out on top 6-2. Following Wednesday's doubleheader rain out they hoped again to play two on Thursday but were only able to complete one seven inning game. The win ups the Lookouts division leading record to 33-28 while dropping the Trash Pandas to 24-39.
Right fielder Hector Rodriguez had his best night of the season going 4-5 with a double and three runs scored. He lifted his season average to .291. First baseman and former first rounder Cam Collier had three hits of his own.
Relief pitcher Donovan Benoit collected the victory going four innings and allowing two runs on two hits with five strikeouts. He moves to 3-1 on the season.
The two teams will link back up on Friday night and then once again try and play a doubleheader on Saturday evening before concluding the series on Sunday.
