The City of Dalton's offices and non-emergency services will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. There will be no garbage and recycling collection that day. Instead, to ensure that all residents receive their garbage and recycling services for the week, the collection schedule will be changed:
- Friday’s garbage and recycling will be picked up on Thursday, July 3.
- All other days will be picked up on their regularly scheduled day.
