Jackie Lamar Hendrix, 56, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.

He was born on May 9, 1968 to the late Gene and Ruby Hendrix in Fort Oglethorpe. Jackie attended Lakeview High School, and worked in construction for more than 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, hunting, and camping.

Those left to cherish Jackie’s memory are his siblings, Glenda Riley, Dan Hendrix, Wanda (Daniel Sr.) Stephenson, Bill (Valerie) Hendrix, and Nancy (Andy) Turner; good friends, Alan Jackson, and Justice Blaze “Butterbean” Brown; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Jan. 5, from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel.
