Patsy Helen Marshall, 88, of Hixson, went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2025.

She was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Pat was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. In her earlier days, she enjoyed babysitting for many families and also enjoyed spending her time volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House.

She was preceded in death by her husband J. C. Marshall.

Pat is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Mallard, and Janice Marshall; three sons, Gary (Jimmie) Marshall, Randy (Sherry) Marshall, and Phil (Dendy) Marshall; three granddaughters, Stefanie (Ryan) Capetz, Briana (Richard) Sledge, and Layton Marshall; three grandsons, Shea (Kasia) Marshall, Braden (Rachel) Marshall and Sam Marshall; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Hazel (Jim) Hawkins; three brothers, Bobby (Dolly) Bales, Jerry (Jeanne) Bales, and Clyde (Brenda) Bales; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, at the graveside in Hamilton Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Vince Dean officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Chattanooga, RMHC of Greater Chattanooga, 200 Central Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37403 or rmhchattanooga.com

Thank you to Hospice of Chattanooga and Hearth Hospice for their care. A special thank you to her daughter Janice Marshall for taking such good care of mom these past few years.
