The Tennessee Federation Of Republican Women celebrated 70 years as a federation with Ladies Day on the Hill on April 14, hosted by the Republican Women of Rutherford County.
Over 300 members gathered in the Tennessee Capitol, with breakfast served in the Capitol Library, followed by a presentation in the historic House Chambers.
Officials said, "The insightful presentation included representative’s personal thoughts pertaining to aspects of their job with the consensus of meeting people from the great state of Tennessee as the most gratifying.
In addition, U.S. Congressman John Rose inspired those in attendance with his remarks. The attendees were surprised with a photo opportunity and gracious words from Governor Bill Lee on the Capitol steps.
"During the luncheon, keynote speaker, Senator Marsha Blackburn, and Tennessee GOP Chairman Scott Golden collectively provided encouragement and inspiration for the fast-approaching 2026 elections. The theme was disco and party, and clubs hosted various representatives as a thank you for their diligence to the Republican Party. Club Presidents were presented with a resolution commemorating the TNFRW club inception date. Ladies Day on the Hill reflected 70 years of the impact women have within the Republican Party and excited attendees of what the future holds working together."
