After Soddy Daisy rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh to force extra play, Mother Nature said NO!
After the Trojans were able to knot the game with Walker Valley Wednesday, lightning ended the contest after just one batter in the top of the eighth, forcing the teams to settle for a tie.
The contest will not be completed since the regular season is wrapping up this week before district tournament action gets underway.
Walker Valley (13-16-1) will complete its regular campaign Friday with a trip to East Hamilton (16-15), while Soddy Daisy (17-11-2) will welcome Bradley Central (15-13-1) Monday.
Soddy Daisy opened Wednesday's scoring with a solo run in the bottom of the first when Logan Williams opened the at bat with a triple to right field before Brayden Maynor bunted him home.
Walker Valley answered with all five of their runs on the night coming in the top of the second, thanks to four singles, three walks and a Trojan error.
Zander Neuendorf opened the rally with a base on balls, but was erased on a fielder's choice when Milligan signee Michael Pledge tried to bunt him up.

Torbett tossed the first three innings for the visitors, striking out five, walking just two, while giving up only one hit and an unearned run.
Braxton Davis came on for a pair of frames, notching a couple of Ks and issuing four free passes, but only one hit and an unearned run. Cantrell took the hill for the final two, giving up only a hit and posting five strikeouts, but also handed out four free passes and a trio of scores.
After Jake Jackson went the for 1.2 innings for the hosts, giving up three hits and a trio of base on balls, leading to the five runs, Luke Camp came on for 3.2 innings of scoreless ball, notching five Ks and three free passes and just two hits.
Alexander Pinson completed the Trojan mound effort with 1.2 shutout innings, with three strikeouts and four "freebies."
