Foundation House Ministries announces the opening of their new thrift store in Athens that will employ and support mothers in their program.

A grand opening ceremony will be held at the thrift store, 225 E. Washington Ave. in Athens, from 11 a.m.-1p.m. on April 25.

Good Foundations Thrift Store is the second thrift store the nonprofit operates. Foundation House's growth into McMinn County is supported by the Tennessee Strong Families grant. The nonprofit's executive team, as well as mothers in the program and various local officials, will be in attendance.
