Gail Griffith
Gail Griffith, 78, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 27, 2025.
Born in Chattanooga, on Feb. 16, 1947, Gail was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Griffith. A lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy, she was a devoted member of the Soddy Church of Christ and was known for her warm spirit and generous heart. Gail worked for many years as a legal secretary, where her dedication and attention to detail were matched only by her kindness and vivacious personality.
Those who knew Gail will remember her as an exceptional woman — generous to a fault, full of life, and unafraid to show a bit of flamboyance. Her greatest joy was her family, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally.
Gail was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Daughtery, and her parents.
She is survived by her loving children, Mark Daughtery of Soddy-Daisy, Dana (Mike) Fulmer of Ringgold, GA, and Teresa (Marc) Corum of Smyrna, TN; her cherished grandchildren, Matthew Harvey, DJ and Zack Matheny, and Nicholas and Hunter Daughtery; and her precious great-granddaughter, Addison Harvey. She is also survived by her siblings, June (Steven) Bowling of Red Bank, TN, Lynn (Greg) Lewis of Nashville, TN, and Delton (Rhonda) Griffith of Signal Mountain, TN, as well as many adored nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Gail’s life will be held on Sunday May 4, 2025, at the Soddy Church of Christ located at 11665 Hixson Pike, in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
