Chattanooga FC Women will look to build on a comprehensive 5-0 victory during last weekend's home opener as it hosts Georgia Impact in a crucial match in the Southeast Conference's Peachtree Division on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. ET at Finley Stadium.
The Sky Blues will be the visiting Impact's first opponent of the 2025 season as the club based in Canton, Georiga gets its campaign underway under the lights of Fort Finley.
"We've been continuing to establish our style of play [in training]," said Chattanooga FC Women Associate Head Coach Maryn Beutler. "We want to make sure that every individual knows their identity, what they bring to the team and that they also know what their teammates bring to the team and how we can bring out the best in one another to be successful.
"Impact will be a good team. They've done a good job recruiting. They have a lot of talent within the space, so we're excited to play against a high level of competition to give us a good idea of where we're standing within the league overall.
"We don't want to settle for what we have proven to already done. We need to work to improve every single day, because we know the standard through the league keeps getting higher and higher. We are continuing to push ourselves and the team to a little bit of discomfort to make sure that when we arrive on Friday we're confident, loose and ready to win."
