Tickets are selling fast for the July 31 show, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most memorable yet.

“These contestants have put a lot of thought into how to make this a very entertaining show for everyone and the judges. We’re working with the Silverdale tech crew, making sure the lighting and atmosphere are great so everyone can enjoy not only the heartfelt acts but this great production,” said Miranda Perez, Morning Pointe Foundation executive director.

And now, they’re ready to show Chattanooga what they’ve got.

Singers, guitarists, a pianist and a bluegrass band will all take the stage on July 31 to compete for $1,000 in the Morning Pointe Foundation’s Seniors Got Talent variety show in Chattanooga.

The Foundation has chosen 12 senior acts, all ages 60 or older, and tickets are now on sale for the show.

The 6th Annual Morning Pointe Foundation Seniors Got Talent will take place Thursday, July 31, at 7 p.m. at the Silverdale Center Creekside Theatre at 7236 Bonny Oaks Dr.

All proceeds from votes, ticket sales and sponsorships will go to the Morning Pointe Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, to support nursing and other college scholarships. The Morning Pointe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Morning Pointe Senior Living and was founded in 2014 by Greg A. Vital and J. Franklin Farrow to provide caregiver support programs, sponsor educational awareness events and fund scholarships to advance the care of seniors throughout the Southeast.

Gino D, radio personality with Hits 96 in Chattanooga, will serve as emcee for the show for the second year. Judges are Melissa “Mo” Wagner, award-winning radio personality with US 101 FM; Danielle Farrell, author, dancer and director of Raw Art Dance & Entertainment Dance Academy; Steve Darmody, award-winning Christian recording artist; and Ismael Sandoval, associate conductor of the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera.
