Day Shift July 24: B Squad
25-007789- 1600 BLK Key West Avenue - Suspicious Vehicle
Police responded to a suspicious vehicle parked in the driveway of this residence, of which the occupants from the vehicle were knocking on the door, attempting to find a female party. Coincidently, officers were also attempting to locate the vehicle as it had been observed attempting to elude police on multiple backroads. They all consented to a search of their person and the vehicle, which yielded 1.2 Grams of methamphetamines, two glass pipes, and a used needle were located in the backpack of one of the occupants. She was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug paraphernalia.
25-007781 – 1600 BLK Keywest Avenue- Domestic Disorder
Police responded to the above address for a domestic disorder. The reporting party alleged he and his wife were arguing, and he was, “Done with it”. Officers determined the disorder was verbal only and advised both to stay on opposite sides of the house and not engage verbally with one another.
25-007788-300 BLK Camp Jordon Road - Vandalism
A man reported to police that he found three of the tires on his white Ford Mustang had been slashed while in his driveway. No suspect information is available currently.
25-007790 – 400 BLK S. Moore Road - Citizen Assist
Police responded to assist with identifying a party. According to the employee of the business, they were in possession of a body and needed to verify the identity of it, due to a communication error with a family member. After utilizing historical photos of the party, police and family members were able to confirm the identity of the deceased.
Night Shift July 24: D Squad
25-007794 – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service
A party was served a Forfeiture Capias with an original charge of Driving on Suspended or Revoked License out of East Ridge while in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
25-007796- 6900 BLK Village Lake Circle-Alarm Burglar
Police responded to a burglary alarm. The residence appeared to be secure with no signs of forced entry.
25-007799-344 Frawley Road- Auto Theft/Warrant Service
Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle returned to the scene while officers were out with the complainant. It was determined to be a civil matter. Officers discovered that the complainant had active warrants through Collegedale and Soddy Daisy PD. They were taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County jail.
25-007800-3400 BLK Gail Drive-Harassment
A caller reported someone she knew was harassing her and having people watch her. Officers spoke with the party and determined the harassment was occurring in Chattanooga. At the caller's request, a report was made to ensure her well-being.
25-007804-1100 BLK Chippewah Drive- Traffic Stop/Arrest
Police stopped a vehicle for not having lights on its trailer. While talking to the driver, it was determined he was under the influence. The driver was taken into custody for Driving under the Influence and Implied Consent.
25-007805- 6500 BLK Ringgold – Assist a Citizen
Officers responded to a call for assistance. The caller stated she is facing homelessness and has two children. She was provided with local resources, and DCS was contacted. DCS stated that they would respond in the morning to assist. DCS report number 1518001328.
25-007807 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Suspicious Person
Security was confronted by an adult male looking for his juvenile nephew. Police located the juvenile who had returned home on his own.
25-007808 – 1600 BLK Ringgold Road – Prowler
A resident reported hearing prowlers trying to steal a stained-glass window. Police checked the residence but found no signs of an intruder.
