25-007756 – 3500 BLK Ringgold Road – Motor Vehicle Collision with Injuries
Police responded to this location after a motorcycle collided with a car. After arriving on scene, officers determined the motorcycle operator had a revoked license and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to an area hospital for his injuries, but warrants are being sought for Driving on Revoked License, Driving without a Motorcycle License, and Possession of
Drug Paraphernalia.
Day Shift July 23: B Squad
25-007742-500 BLK Meadowlark Trail-Burglar Alarm
Police were dispatched to the listed address for a burglar alarm. The residence was found to be secure, and no signs of forced entry were evident.
25-007748-500 BLK Benson Drive-Improperly Parked Auto
Police advised the owner of a dark green Mini Cooper not to park where signs are clearly visible stating there is no parking. The owner moved his vehicle without issue.
25-007759 – 900 BLK DONALDSON Road– Domestic Disorder
Police responded to this location after the father of the resident reported a delayed disorder between his daughter and her husband. The resident stated she and her husband were in a loud verbal altercation, which rose to a serious enough level for her children to become concerned and call for their grandfather to come help. She claimed the argument was only verbal in nature, however, her husband did threaten to damage items in the house and damage their shared vehicle. The husband left the residence prior to police arrival. Police advised the parties on how to obtain a protection order.

25-007760 – 1400 BLK Choate Road – Disorder Prevention
A police presence was requested while a couple, while separating, divided their property. No incident.
25-007767 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road – Theft in Progress
A woman was issued a misdemeanor citation for theft by shoplifting after the cashier observed her put merchandise into her bag and leave the store without paying. The suspect was also issued a trespass notice (25-000137).
25-007768- 1000 BLK Bass Pro Shop Dr- Suspicious Person
Police responded about a female attempting to purchase a firearm. TBI flagged the purchase and advised that the woman had an active arrest warrant through Van Buren County, Tn. Officers located the female and confirmed the warrant. She was placed under arrest for Van Buren County and transported to Hamilton County jail.
25-007772- 1300 BLK Frederick Dr- Suspicious Person
Police responded to a gray car that was parked on the side of the road with a person lying back in the seat. The vehicle had left prior to police arrival.
25-007773 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Person
A man was caught on camera picking through the trash at the carwash. The owner refused to trespass the subject but advised him not to leave a mess. Police verbally warned him of the ordinance against removing garbage from others’ waste receptacles in the city of East Ridge.
25-007775 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road – Mentally Disturbed
Officers responded to the above address after a man requested to be transported to the hospital due to hearing voices in his head. He was provided a courtesy ride to a medical facility.
25-007777 – 1400 BLK N Smith Street – Psychiatric Emergency
Officers responded to the above address after a woman called 911 and reported she felt physically dead and that God loved her. Officers observed her walking in the roadway, and she then asked the officers if she was dead. She was not found to be dead, but ERPD called for EMS to respond to the
scene. EMS responded to the scene and determined she was not a danger to herself or others. She agreed to stay inside for the remainder of the night.
