I saw a line scroll across CNN revealing talking points discussed by Trump and Putin before Trump met with Ukraine President Zelensky Monday. I don’t recall any leaking of confidential info from Jimmy Carter before he met with the presidents of Israel and Egypt. In fact it was the opposite, The NY Times published positive reports about the potential for bi-lateral negotiations which became known as the Camp David Accords (NYTimes 5/2/78) which led to a Nobel Peace Prize for Carter.
I wish someone would do a poll asking: “Do you think the mainstream news media wants Trump to succeed or fail in his efforts to negotiate an end to the Russian-Ukraine War?”
Since his Inauguration, Trump has been one of most active presidents in U.S. history. In contrast, it should show us how ineffective and weak Joe Biden and his AutoPen were. Now all Democrats can do is berate and attempt to obstruct whatever he does. So, what is their plan to end the killing in Eastern Europe? I’ve heard nothing probably because they have no national leader and they have no plan, do they?
I heard no leaks before the India-Pakistan agreement not to go to war but I saw criticism (NYTimes 5/15/25). I heard barely any mention of the Congo-Rwanda truce or the settlement between
Cambodia and Thailand. In fact Cambodian monks, hundreds of them, recently made a public show of appreciation to Trump for his efforts for peace including endorsing him for the Nobel Prize (The Independent 8/8/25).
I saw no report regarding the monks on CNN, MSNBC, NPR or The NY Times but I did see their mockery and criticism (Newsweek 8/17/25) which tells me I think I already know the results of the poll.

It has been interesting to watch the legacy media and the progressive Democrats take the wrong side of virtually every issue since President Trump was re-elected.
I guess they just can't help themselves given their abject hatred for the man.
My sincere hope is that Trump can broker a peace agreement ending the insane Ukraine-Russia conflict, but I think Ralph is correct in his assumption that the crazed leftists are pulling for a continuation of the killing and destruction.
My guess is that if Trump successful and is given the Nobel Peace Prize for this and all of his other peace-making accomplishments, many leftist heads will, figuratively, explode.
