Large Indoor Inflatable Jump Park Comes To Camp Jordan Aug. 23-24

There will be a large indoor inflatable jump park at Camp Jordan Aug. 23-24. It will include 25 inflatables, games, food, Kona Ice, vendors, face painting, and a free petting zoo. I am writing to express my outrage and deep concern regarding the proposed hot mix asphalt plant at the intersection of Thrasher Pike and Highway 27 — in close proximity to Ivy Academy (a public school), North Chickamauga Creek, and the North Chickamauga Creek State Natural Area. The fact that a public meeting on this proposal is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13th at 9:00 AM — with little to no notice — is unacceptable. Lookouts Bullpen Blows Lead Late

The Chattanooga Lookouts got just what they needed from starting pitcher T.J. Sikkema on Thursday night. With the offense scuffling of late Sikkema tossed five strong innings allowing only one run. The offense took advantage with a run scoring hit from Leo Balcazar in the third. He then scored on an Edwin Arroyo single. The score remained 2-1 in the Lookouts favor through seven innings thanks to two scoreless innings of work from Joel Valdez who now sports a 1.55 earned run average. ... more
