Gary Douglas Crider, 74, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the local hospital. Gary was born on May 9, 1951, in Dalton, a son of the late Ralph J. and Mattie Sue Ketchum Crider. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Randle Crider, Roger Crider, and James Crider, and his sister, Christine Maddox. After another rainout on Wednesday evening the Chattanooga Lookouts swept their doubleheader against the Montgomery Biscuits on Thursday and have now won five straight. In Game One starting pitcher T.J. Sikkema had another strong start going four innings and allowing just one run on two hits.
