Registration is now open for the 2nd Annual Morning Pointe Foundation “Pickleball for a Purpose” Scholarship Showdown, set for Friday, Oct. 25 at Pickleball 706 in Calhoun — North Georgia’s only indoor pickleball facility. The tournament raises funds for scholarships in nursing, therapy and culinary programs across the Southeast, including Georgia’s Dalton State College.
“This event is all about turning a fun day on the court into life-changing opportunities for students who will one day make a difference in their chosen fields,” said Miranda Perez, executive director of the Morning Pointe Foundation.
Hosted at Pickleball 706’s eight climate-controlled courts with a full-service pro shop, the tournament welcomes players of all skill levels.
