Chattanooga-Based Tidalwave Named #37 On Inc. 5000 List Of Fastest-Growing Companies In America

  • Tuesday, August 12, 2025
Founded at the INCubator, Tidalwave has become a Chattanooga small business success story as it continues to expand its footprint and hire new staff to meet growing demand for its product fulfillment services. Now, their home-grown success is receiving national attention: in its 2025 Top 5000 Companies ranking, Inc. Magazine has named Tidalwave as the 37th fastest-growing private company in America, the #1 fastest-growing company in the Business Products and Services category, and the #2 fastest-growing company in the state of Tennessee.

"This recognition is a testament to our incredible team and the brands that trust us to power their growth,” said Bradley Sewell, co-founder and owner of Tidalwave.
“We are building Tidalwave to solve real problems in printing and fulfillment so anyone with a winning brand can scale quickly, reliably, and cost-effectively.”

“A big part of our success can be attributed to the support we received at the INCubator while we were very new and the talented staff here in Chattanooga that we have been able to hire, train, and retain,” added Matthew Schroeder, co-founder and Owner of Tidalwave. “I’m not sure there’s a better place in America to start and grow a business than Chattanooga.”

Tidalwave was founded in 2021 when Mr. Sewell and Mr. Schroeder saw a national need for excellence in the screen printing and product fulfillment marketplace. Before founding Tidalwave, the two entrepreneurs were growing an e-commerce brand that Mr. Schroeder had founded while a student at Covenant College.

“Tidalwave’s success is proof that Hamilton County is one of the best places in America to start and grow a business,” said Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp. “Their rise from the INCubator to one of the fastest-growing companies in the country reflects the talent, work ethic, and entrepreneurial spirit that define our community.”

“Chattanooga is a great place to do business, and the success of Tidalwave through the INCubator is another proof point of that,” said Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly. “Local companies boost our economy and create good jobs for Chattanoogans. Ultimately, every new success story strengthens our reputation as a hub for innovation and opportunity.”

“As evidenced by the success of Tidalwave and numerous other homegrown success stories, Chattanooga is the place to be for companies looking to grow,” said Charles Wood, president and CEO of the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce. “The INCubator continues to be an important community asset that helps young companies experiment, scale, and hire local employees.”

Tidalwave continues to grow rapidly and is hiring talented local individuals to join its team. Anyone interested can complete the short application at tidalwaveholdings.co/apply.
