Erlanger will host its annual Neuroscience Symposium on Friday, Sept. 26, from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
The Erlanger Neuroscience Symposium is a one-day, in-person continuing medical education (CME) event designed for all healthcare professionals involved in neuroscience patient care. This includes primary care, advanced practice providers, physical therapists, nurses, medical students, and residents.
This year's symposium will feature specialized tracks for prehospital care, nursing, and providers. Attendees will also benefit from educational sessions and panel discussions led by specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, and interventional radiology.
“Neuroscience is unlocking powerful insights into how we think, learn, and grow. By promoting neuroscience education, we’re not only advancing science – we’re empowering a new generation of learners, educators, and innovators,” said Traci Jennings, vice president of operations, Erlanger Medical Group. “Education is one of the most impactful things in healthcare we can do, and as the region’s first comprehensive stroke center, Erlanger does it best.“
Session topics will include ultrasound demonstrations, concussion management, back pain, advanced therapies for Parkinson’s disease, and more.
Attendees who register by Aug. 15 will receive a $15 discount and complimentary parking.
