Leon Albert Diller, 89, passed away on Monday evening, August 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife, Sara, his son, Tommy, and his daughter-in-law Lisa.

He was born on Aug. 20, 1935, in Greencastle, Pa., and was the son of the late Albert and Fannie (Shank) Diller. He was married to Sara Ida Diller (Mentzer) for 67 years at the time of his death. They had two children, Dwight and Tommy Diller. Leon was preceded in death by his siblings, Anna Krouse, Aden Diller, Glen Diller, Daniel Diller, and Ethel Petersheim, and son, Dwight.

He will be remembered for his quick wit, vigorous work ethic, generous spirit, and his love for singing hymns.

A memorial service is scheduled at Park Lawn Cemetery, 3218 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, Pa. 17201 on Sept. 13, at 10 a.m.
