The Holiday Season At Barnsley Gardens

Barnsley Gardens at Adairsville, Ga., is offering an array of festive activities this holiday season. From wreath-making and tree-trimming to carriage rides and nature hikes, this 1,300-acre resort located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains an hour north of Atlanta, is the perfect place to enjoy this special time.

Christmas festivities on December 24 & 25 include a Candlelight Christmas Eve service in the Fugger Chapel and a
Family-Style Christmas Brunch on Dec. 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Rice
House. The price of the meal is $38 for adults, $15 for children
3-14, and free for children 2 and under. Santa will be there with gifts.
There will also be carriage rides through the village, guided garden and history tours, and self-guided nature hikes.

The event includes complimentary hors d'oeuvres, hot cider and storytelling around the fire in the Bavarian Beer Garden. There will be complimentary cookies and hot chocolate in the Tea Room.

The Christmas Package is available from Dec. 21 to Dec. 30 and includes
accommodations in a luxurious guestroom with a wood-burning fireplace, breakfast in the Woodlands Grill, and dinner for two at either The Rice House or Woodlands Grill. Rates begin at $285 per couple.

New Years festivities on December 31 include a New Year's Eve Celebration Dinner on Dec. 31 at 7 p.m. in the Rice House, followed at 9 p.m. by a New Year's Eve party in the Pavilion. The party will include live music, refreshments, and a champagne toast at midnight.

The cost of the dinner is $90 per person, and $150 for dinner and
entertainment.

Included will be a guided garden and history tours, and self-guided nature hikes. A big screen television will be set up in the Woodlands Grill Lounge for enjoying the popular New Year's football games.

The New Year's Package includes accommodations in a luxurious guestroom with wood-burning fireplace, admission to the New Year's Eve Celebration Dinner
with entertainment, and New Year's Day Breakfast in the Woodlands Grill with complimentary Mimosas and Bloody Marys. Rates begin at $495 per couple.

Additional nights may be purchased with any package for $205, including
breakfast.
