Kenneth Ray Brumlow, 63, of Soddy-Daisy, died on Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, in a local hospital.
He was a member and deacon of Oak Street Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from E.I. DuPont with 40 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis W. and Lola Bowling Brumlow.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Brumlow; sons, Michael and Patrick Brumlow, all of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Christa Brumlow Waggoner of Murfreesboro, TN, and sisters, Pat Ables, Saralyn Penney and Laural "Bunny" Stephens, all of Soddy-Daisy.
Funeral services will be Thursday, at 2 p.m. at Oak Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Evans, the Rev. Daryl Winters and the Rev. Andy Penney officiating.
Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Oak Street Baptist Church, Larry Dillard and Doyle Higdon.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to Oak Street Baptist Church Building Fund, 11340 N. Oak St., Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
