Ellis Gardner, with Crye-Leike Realtors, has earned the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation.
Affiliate broker Ellis Gardner of Crye-Leike, Realtors has been named an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC), an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
This distinction is signified by the ABR designation, the benchmark of excellence in real estate buyer representation. Among Crye-Leike’s 3,000 sales force, Mr. Gardner is one of over 300 Crye-Leike sales associates who hold the ABR designation, with over 1,750 active ABR members within the market areas which Crye-Leike serves.
The requirements for this coveted ABR designation include a comprehensive two-day course in buyer representation, a written examination on legal and practical aspects of client representation and practical experience in the field of buyer representation.
Mr. Gardner has four years of real estate sales experience and is licensed in Tennessee and Georgia and serves the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in and around the Greater Chattanooga area.
As a multi-million dollar producer, he has attained membership within Crye-Leike’s Multi-Million Dollar Club, a membership of over 550 sales associates who have been recognized annually for their outstanding sales performance for individually selling in excess of $2 million.
Mr. Gardner is a member of the National, Tennessee and Chattanooga Associations of Realtors. Prior to entering the real estate industry, Gardner was a professionally licensed electrical engineer for 14 years, receiving his electrical engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Ga.
While in college, he played football as offensive lineman and was twice named a member of the Academic All-American Football Team from the NCAA. His football career escalated from there, where he became a professional football player for the National Football League (NFL) as offensive lineman for the Kansas City Chiefs, the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Oilers (known now as the Tennessee Titans).
