Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tn. announced students whose academic achievements during the fall 2005 semester have earned them a place on the President's List, Dean's List, and/or Charles Oliver Gray Scholars List.
Yvonne S. Daniel of Chattanooga, John E. Gregory III of Ooltewah, and Gregory D. Merrill of Soddy Daisy were named to the Dean's List, which honors students who have earned at least a 3.5 grade-point average while completing at least 12 semester hours.
Mr. Merrill was also named to the Charles Oliver Gray Scholars List, which recognizes students who have been named to the Dean's List for two consecutive semesters.
Tusculum College, the oldest college in Tennessee and the 28th oldest in the nation, is a civic arts institution committed to developing educated citizens distinguished by academic excellence, public service and qualities of Judeo-Christian character.
About 2,700 students are enrolled on the main campus in Greeneville and nine off-site locations in East Tennessee. The academic programs for both traditional-aged students and working adults served through the Graduate and Professional Studies program are delivered using focused calendars whereby students enroll in one course at a time.
