Glen Hovland, 60, of East Ridge, died on Monday, June 26, 2006, in a local hospital.
He was born June 7, 1946, to Evelyn Hovland and the late Leo Hovland in Adrian, Minn. He was a member of Spring Creek Road Baptist Church, worked for McKee Baking Company, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Hovland, of East Ridge; mother, Evelyn Hovland, of Alexandria, MN; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Deborah Cordell, of Calhoun, GA, Kelvin and Trenda Cordell, of LaFayette, GA, Arthur Ross, of Alexandria, Michael and Kim Ross, of Lonsdale, MN, Robert and Kadie Ross, of Tomah, WI, Steven and Shari Ross, of Lexington, MN; stepdaughter, Kathy Cordell, of Fort Oglethorpe; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Lynn Hovland, of Tampa, FL, Dan and Marlene Hovland, of Upsala, MN; sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Brian VandenBosch, of Orange City, IA; several grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Kenneth McElhaney and Pastor Jim Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Wednesday at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
