Cohutta Banking Company of Tennessee is celebrating the grand opening of its new Hixson office, located at 5613 Highway 153 near Target, on Friday.
Food, drinks and prizes will be given away. Visitors will also have the opportunity to make a donation to the Mary Ellen Locher Foundation and register for a drawing to win a custom chopper autographed by Steve Miller of the Steve Miller Band, which will be given away during the 2007 Riverbend Festival.
The chopper will also be on display at the office, and those making donations will receive a breast cancer awareness pin.
Cohutta Banking Company of Tennessee also operates branches located downtown at 820 Broad St. and on the northshore at 103 Cherokee Blvd.
"We are very pleased to be a part of the Chattanooga market and to be opening this 7,500-square foot full service office," said Mike Haskew, executive vice president and Chattanooga city president. "The staff of the Hixson office includes several veteran bankers with family and friends in the community, and we are excited about the future. Cohutta Banking Company of Tennessee is committed to Chattanooga, and plans include the construction of several new branches during the next five years.
