Earl James Schorr, 87, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at his home.

Mr. Schorr was born in Cardington, Ohio to Henry and Bertha Schorr. He lived most of his life in Ohio until retiring to the Chattanooga area.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Jennie Schorr; daughter, Barbara Muir; son, Gary (Judith) Schorr; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Bruce Howland officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park, Red Bank, Tn.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 404 S. Moore Road.
