Betty Moudy
Betty Lamb Moudy, 88, of East Ridge, Tennessee, died on Monday, December 6, 2010 at her home.
She was a member of East Ridge Christian Church and was retired from Kleen-A-Matic. Betty was a graduate of Central High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred S. Moudy Jr., parents, Hal W. and Cecil Bobo Lamb; two brothers, Bobby Lamb and Dan Lamb; one nephew, Richard Lamb.
Survivors include her children, Fred Moudy III and his wife Judy, of Smyrna, Tn., Molly Rich and her husband Mike, of Signal Mountain, and Bobbye Morgan and her husband David, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Casey Aytes and his wife Mary of McDonough, Ga., Travis Aytes and his wife Debbie, of Chattanooga, Laurel Weisert and her husband, Oliver, of Seattle, Wa., Carrie Moudy of Knoxville, Dylan Moudy of Smyrna, and Vanessa Cabrices of Smyrna; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Aytes of Chickamauga, Logan Aytes and Caleb Aytes, of Chattanooga; brother, Hal W. Lamb and his wife Ellie, of Chapel Hill, N.C.; nephews, Hal Lamb III, of Atlanta, Daniel Lamb of Knoxville, and Dan Ireland of Colorado; niece, Dana Mearns of Liberty, Tx.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Minister Dale P. Lovelady officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
