Courtney Davis, 41, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at his residence.

He was an awesome hair stylist, and a notary with many talents. Throughout his career, he worked at Rose Wood, RHA, Community Option, Alexian Village, and Sam’s Club.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Davis; grandparents, Minnie Mae Parker and Parlee Holloway.

Those left to cherish his memories include his godsons, Deshaun Beach and Deaunte Crawford, both of Chattanooga; goddaughter, Destiny Williams, of Chattanooga; mother, Estherine Holloway Davis; godfather, Carlos Thompson; godmother, Karen Thompson, both of Chattanooga; brothers, Chauncey Thompson and Richard A. Davis, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Marqua Thompson, Tyniaqua S. Holloway, Jessica L. Davis, Danae Allen, and Patricia Hester, all of Chattanooga; uncles, Winford Davis, Harold Holloway, Philip Holloway, and Joe Holloway, all of Chattanooga; aunts, Gwendolyn Davis, Maxine McClendon, Tonia Hale, Jamesetta Sexton, Kathleen Holloway, and Patricia Allen, all of Chattanooga; nieces, Maliyan Thompson and Londyn Holline Thompson; nephews, Amari Davis, Makai Thompson, Kristin Holloway, and Kentory High; a host of special nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Courtney will lie in state on Saturday, April 26, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at noon in the chapel. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
