25-007205 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road – Disorder
An off-duty officer working at this location requested assistance for a disorder after being alerted to a male subject striking a vehicle in the parking lot with a golf club. The male party was detained without incident, and it was discovered that he was attempting to re-acquire a vehicle he believed was stolen. When the driver of the alleged stolen vehicle did not stop, the male subject’s spouse then rammed the vehicle with her car. Following further investigation, it was determined that the rightful owner of the vehicle had attempted to report it as stolen through another agency but was unable to due to lack of proper paperwork. Ultimately, it was determined that the vehicle, although not reported, was technically stolen by a female. The suspect, after being confronted twice by the owners of the vehicle, abandoned it and fled on foot towards Landsdale Park. She could not be
located, and no crime could be identified for prosecution. A report was completed to document the incident.

The complainant advised he had lost a gold ring with sapphire at the car wash on June 3rd. The ring is valued at approximately $1500.
25-007056-4300 BLK Esterbrook Dr. – Alarm
Police were dispatched to this address on an alarm. Officers observed the front door to be unsecured. The owner advised his door was unlocked for workers to stop by the residence.
25-007061- 5600 BLK Ringgold Rd. – Disorder
Police responded to auto dealership on reports of an irate customer. The customer stated her financial institution was attempting to repossess her vehicle. The customer brought the car back on her own and demanded a receipt from the car dealership for the repossession. The customer was
advised the financial institution will deliver her the repossession papers.
25-007063-700 BLK Marley Way - Harassing Threats
The complainant advised she had been receiving text messages from random numbers. She stated the messages were in reference to her current boyfriend and how she “stole him”. The victim has blocked the numbers, but the unknown suspect is allegedly using a number generating application.
Prosecution by the victim was undecided at the time of the report.
25-007062 – 300 BLK Dunlap- Domestic Assault
Police spoke with the assault victim who reported that her boyfriend punched her in the face while she was attempting to exit her vehicle. It was later determined that the assault occurred in Chattanooga. The Chattanooga Police Department was notified and had taken over the investigation. The suspect currently has active warrants from Sessions Court for a petition to revoke
(related to assault) and for theft of property.
Night Shift July 3: C Squad
25-007071 – 1000 BLK S. Seminole Drive – Suspicious Activity / Arrest
Police responded to a suspected theft in progress at a local storage facility. Officers found a man who was cutting the lock to a storage unit. Police determined that he had rented the unit and lost the key to his padlock. A woman also at the unit was found to have an arrest warrant through Walker County. She was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail without further incident.
25-007074 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Back Other Agency
Deputies with the Dade County Sheriff's Office requested a well-being check after a family member attempted to report her missing. East Ridge Police located her and determined she was staying with a friend at a local hotel. The woman showed no signs of distress, and no further law enforcement action was required.
25-007077 – 700 BLK Frawley Road – Suspicious Activity
A resident heard loud screaming and thumping noises from a breezeway in the adjacent building. Police responded to the location and found a group of adults celebrating the 4th of July. The party goers agreed to lower the volume for the evening.
25-007078 – 400 BLK McBrien Road– Assist Emergency Services
Police and Fire Department units responded to a possible fire at the TNT Fireworks Store. Employees reported smoke in the store but could not locate any flames or hot spots. Police assisted Fire in evacuating over 100 people. Fire inspectors checked the building and found no issues. Personnel later determined the smoke was from a large firepit located at a nearby residence.
25-007083 – 4300 BLK Dupont Street – Back Other Agency
Deputies with the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office requested a well-being check. A reporting party in Georgia told Deputies that the subject threatened to show up at his house with a gun. Police located the man and found he had no plans to harm himself or others. No charges were filed in Catoosa County based on the information provided by East Ridge Police.
25-007081 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Road– Domestic Assault
Police responded to a disorder and determined that a woman was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend. The victim was uncooperative and would not provide the name of her ex-boyfriend despite her obvious minor injuries. The woman denied EMS services and refused to provide any useful information. Police spoke with two witnesses who confirmed an assault took place; however, no
one could provide a name for the suspect. Warrants will be sought once the suspect is identified.
25-007086 – 3700 BLK Anderson Ave – Animal Call
A concerned citizen reported of a dog had been hit by a car and was lying in the road. Police responded to the area and located the injured animal in a yard. An officer transported the dog to the East Ridge Animal Shelter where it was handed off to an Animal Control Officer. The injured animal was then taken to a local animal hospital for emergency care.
25-007091 – 1500 BLK Tombras Ave – Traffic Stop / Arrest
Police observed a white sedan traveling at a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was found to have a revoked license due to a DUI offense. He was taken into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

Police responded to a reported Domestic Assault and located several individuals at the residence. After a short investigation, officers found no evidence of an assault and determined there was only a verbal argument.

Police responded to the listed address for a burglar alarm; it was determined to be an accidental activation.

Police conducted a traffic stop on a for a hands-free violation. The driver was identified and found to be revoked for driving under the influence. She was placed into custody for driving on a revoked DUI and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

Police were requested to stand by at a custody exchange in the Police Department parking lot to prevent any issues between the two parties.

Police responded to a disorder call. A verbal altercation over one party’s parking job turned physical when one directed a racial slur at the other. In turn, the offended party admitted to slapping the other. Bothg declined prosecution for the assault or the alleged property damage. Both parties went
their separate ways.

Police spoke with an employee who reported two subjects had opened a fraudulent business account with several stores in the area which they used to fraudulently purchase thousands of dollars of merchandise. At this time, there are several cases opened in multiple jurisdictions.

Police responded to the listed address for a suspicious person. The resident reported that an individual was sitting on her front porch and refused to leave. The party was checked for warrants and sent on her way without issue.

A group of males were asked to leave the soccer field after the property owner said they were damaging the fields. Police did not observe any signs of damage on the field, but the group was advised to obtain permission to use the facility.
25-007121 – 3600 BLK Fountain Avenue – Suspicious Activity
Police assisted in the cooperative removal of unauthorized guests using the pool at the apartments.
25-007127 – 3100 BLK Bimini Place – Shots Fired
A resident reported seeing someone shooting a gun outside their residence. No description of the suspect was provided. Police checked the area but could not locate evidence of gunshots.

A resident requested a property damage report after he alleged his Ford Mustang was damaged by recent roadway construction in his neighborhood.
25-007128 – 5600 BLK Ringgold Road - Traffic Stop/DUI Arrest
Police conducted a traffic stop on a white Chevy Tahoe after receiving a BOLO for the vehicle, reporting it as unable to maintain its lane and driving into oncoming traffic. The driver was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, failure to maintain lane, and violating the open container law. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail without any issues.

Police responded to a burglar alarm. The business was checked and showed no signs of forced entry.

Police responded with the fire department in reference to fireworks catching trash on fire. The scene was turned over to the fire department.

Police responded to this location for an alarm. No signs of forced entry were observed, and the alarm was found to be accidental.
25-007119 – 400 BLK McBrien Road - Suspicious Person
Police received a call about a female walking down the road yelling and pushing a lawnmower. She stated she was just trying to move her items to a friend’s house. The woman stated she had acquired the motorless lawnmower from the side of the road.

A caller advised people were shooting fireworks in the middle of the roadway causing a road hazard. Police contacted the parties and advised them to remove the fireworks from the middle of the road.
25-007132 – 600 BLK South St. Marks Avenue - Unknown Trouble
Police received a call that a female was screaming and asking for help. Officers initially responded to the area but were unable to locate any signs of distress based off cellphone location data. Dispatch later was able to ascertain an accurate location for the call. Officers spoke with all parties on scene who advised all was well and they did not need police assistance.
25-007135 – 5300 BLK Haisten Court - Mentally Disturbed
A man contacted police after his roommate experienced hallucinations. The roommate was stating people were trying to shoot him. He told officers that he had not been able to take his medication because he was out. The subject was provided a ride to the hospital for evaluation without incident.

Following a traffic stop conducted by Catoosa County that continued into East Ridge, a man was arrested for DUI and driving without a license.

25-007113 – 3900 BLK S Mission Oaks Dr – Disorder
Police responded to this address after the reporting party alleged that his ex-girlfriend and her son were involved in an escalating verbal argument with him. He alleged that during the altercation that the woman had grabbed a bottle of lighter fluid and threatened to burn things inside the home. The
situation had de-escalated prior to police arrival. The man was advised of the civil eviction process.
25-007137 – 10 BLK Franklin Place - Property Damage
Police again spoke with a resident about damage to his Ford Mustang possibly sustained at a construction site in the area. He stated the dust cover underneath the vehicle was damaged when he exited his driveway and believed it was the result of some asphalt work on the property across the street. Officers advised him again that this was a civil issue and to contact his insurance company.
25-007144 – 900 BLK S Seminole Dr – Open Car Door
Police responded to the address on report of an unsecured door on a vehicle. No occupants were in or around the car. A check of the registration returned but no apartment number was listed. Officers secured the vehicle before clearing the scene.
25-007150- 500 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway- Disorder/Trespass
Police responded in reference to a person the business no longer wanted on the property. The suspect made unwanted comments towards the servers. The on-duty manager also stated that he wanted Laughter trespassed from the property. See Proximity Restriction number 25-000121.
25-007156 – 4300 BLK Ringgold Rd– Unconscious / Arrest
ERPD responded to the rear parking lot of the business for an unconscious person. After arriving the male suspect stated he was just taking a nap before work. A consent search was conducted and suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia was located inside the vehicle. The man was taken into custody and transported to jail.
25-007158 – 1600 BLK Keeble Street - Suspicious Activity
The caller reported finding a wallet in his driveway, which he discovered belonged to a neighbor. Upon reviewing his video surveillance to determine the source of the wallet, he found that during the early morning hours, a heavyset female with blonde hair attempted to enter his vehicles by checking the door handles. The subject was then observed making her way westbound on Scott St. and out of view. He advised he was not missing any items but did notify his neighbors of the incident.

A man was transported to the hospital from the dispensary after experiencing a medical emergency. He had ingested .05 grams of 89 percent THC at the DAB Bar.
25-007166 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Animal Call
A black and white poodle entered the grocery store without its owner and without identification. Police apprehended the poodle and contacted Eastridge Animal Control who identified him as “Oreo” and returned him to his home.
25-007171 – 3400 BLK Crabtree Drive – Alarm
The residence was checked by police after an audible alarm message was generated to dispatch. No signs of intrusion were detected.
25-007173 – 3200 BLK Ringgold Road – Alarm
The business was checked by police after an audible alarm message was generated to dispatch. No signs of intrusion were detected.
25-007179 – 3300 BLK Gleason Drive – Civil Matter
A couple going thru divorce requested information regarding the theft of shared property. The officer advised the matter was not of a criminal nature and referred the caller to seek legal counsel with a civil attorney.

25-007188 – 3300 BLK Ringgold Fabric Care Coin Laundry – Theft
A woman left clothing at the laundry and returned to the location about six hours later. The clothes were found missing.
25-007185-900 BLK Mcbrien Road-Well Being Check
Police contacted a man at the church lot after a passerby reported him headbutting a telephone pole. No injuries were observed, and he agreed to move along without issue.
25-007190- 700 BLK Frawley Road- Unconscious Person
Police were called regarding an unconscious party in the bathroom. Officers began chest compressions on this female party until East Ridge Fire and Hamilton County Emergency Medical Personnel could arrive to assist. The patient was transported by Hamilton County EMS.
25-007192-1510 Maxwell Road-Burglar Alarm
Police responded to the Post Office for a burglar alarm. The back door was found unsecured; officers searched the building and found no signs of forced entry or theft.
25-007194- 200 Eads Street- Assault/ Arrest
Police were dispatched to an assault/unknown trouble after multiple calls were placed from this address, stating that there was some sort of altercation occurring. Police were able to get the information on the alleged suspect's vehicle and stopped it at the entrance to the apartments. Officers then contacted the alleged victim. It was discovered that he had active warrants issued by East Ridge City Court. He was placed into custody and transported to Hamilton County Jail. Police were unable to determine an aggressor in the alleged assault.
25-007196 – 1000 BLK Bass Pro Drive - Disorder
Management reported a male approximately 35 years old, 5'10, wearing a ballcap, white t-shirt and black shorts was opening multiple packages in a possible attempt to steal items. According to the reporting party, when asked to leave the store, the subject became argumentative and overturned the shopping cart he was using causing damage to store property. He then fled on foot. Police attempted to locate the subject; however, he was not located.

A caller reported her adult son had thrown a smoothie at her and she could not handle him. The caller wanted her son out of her house. She was advised of the proper way to file an eviction.
25-007210 – 3300 BLK Frawley Street – Unknown Trouble
A resident reported hearing screams coming from the residence next door. Police responded to the area and discovered the sounds were coming from cats fighting.
Day Shift July 7: A Squad
25-007214 – 400 BLK Camp Jordan Pkwy – Theft/ Vandalism/ Burglary
Police were dispatched to the area on reports of a disorder. Officers spoke with a woman who advised she was concerned her husband had acquired an ATV in an unscrupulous manner. Police spoke with the man who stated he helped an unknown man with “electronics” work and was rewarded with a $36,000 Polaris ATV. The suspect stated he didn’t know the man’s name, but he had a face tattoo and was working at the fair. Police detained the man while an investigation was conducted. Officers were able to contact the owner of the ATV who advised he did not know the party in possession of his vehicle. Police observed the trailer where the ATV had been housed. The trailer had been forcibly entered, and the ATV was conspicuously missing. The owner also advised the trailer cost $18,000 and would need extensive repairs. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with Vandalism, Burglary and Theft of Property (Motor Vehicle).
25-007221 – 3400 BLK Bennett - Assault
Police responded on a reported assault. The caller stated she was on the property to do laundry for the resident when an older gentleman, later identified, accused her of trespassing and threw his shoulder into her. Police spoke with the man who claimed he was the unofficial caretaker of the
property and was not aware the woman was allowed access. He denied any physical altercation took place. Police did not observe any signs an altercation and were not able to confirm the allegations of an assault.
25-007220 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road – Disorder
A hotel employee called the police after observing a female party in a loud verbal altercation with a man. During the argument, the female reportedly said, “If you hit me again, I’m leaving,” before rushing out the door, seemingly to get away from the male. The male then chased after her, and the
two left in separate vehicles. Officers are working to identify both parties to conduct a well-being check.
25-007228 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Fight
Officers responded on a report of multiple parties fighting. ERPD located a male bleeding from the face. He alleged he was jumped by four males who then left in a blue SUV and a black Ford Escape (unknown tag). Officers located the suspects using the Tn. registration and identified them. All parties alleged the caller initiated the fight by spitting on their vehicle and swinging on their father. Officers deemed it was a mutual fight and no charges were sought.

25-007234 – 3600 BLK Fountain Avenue – Suspicious Activity / Criminal Trespass
A resident reported a suspicious vehicle near the pool at the apartment complex. Officers located the vehicle and occupant. Police determined that she was not a resident of the apartment complex and did not know anyone who lived there. The party was criminally trespassed and sent on her way.

25-007235 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Shoplifting / Criminal Trespass
During a business check, the ERPD K-9 Officer observed two individuals exhibiting suspicious behavior. A store employee came forward and stated the subjects had consumed two food items without paying for them. Police confronted the pair and found concealed food items in their possession. The couple paid for the items and were criminally trespassed from the store. Proximity restriction 25-000124 and 25-000125.
25-007239 – 4100 BLK Ringgold Road – Domestic Disorder
ERPD responded to a disorder in the parking lot of the market. Police found that two people had a verbal argument while loading their groceries. Officers found no evidence of an assault and both individuals were calm while speaking with law enforcement.
25-007240 – 4000 BLK Sherlin Drive – Gas Leak / Assist Fire
Police and Fire Department units responded to a gas leak next to a house on Sherlin Drive. The residents of the home inadvertently struck a gas line while working in the yard. Police provided traffic control while the Fire Department and the Chattanooga Gas Company contained the leak and repaired the damaged gas line.
25-007243 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Shoplifting / Criminal Trespass
Police observed a bicycle on Ringgold Road without proper nighttime illumination. The bicycle was stopped, and the rider was identified. During a roadside interview, it was determined that he had just left a nearby grocery store where he stole $79 worth of merchandise. The stolen items were
returned to the store, and the man was criminally trespassed from the business. Proximity restriction 25-000126.
25-007244 – 1400 BLK East End Avenue – Well-Being Check / Arrest
Police observed a man walking down the road and approached him to check his well-being. It was discovered he had methamphetamine in his backpack. The subject was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.
25-007253 – 5700 BLK Ringgold Road – Suspicious Activity
Police responded to the report of a female running around the dealership parking lot. Police checked the area and did not locate anyone at business. No damage to the vehicles or buildings were observed, and there were no signs of forced entry.
