Doyle Camp, 81, of Ft. Oglethorpe, died on Monday, May 10, 2010 at his home.

He was an active member of the Ft. Oglethorpe Church of Christ, having served as teacher, deacon, elder, and secretary/treasurer.

He was a former mayor of Ft. Oglethorpe, a publisher of the Busy Shopper, Inc., and also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He was the best husband, father and grandfather anyone could ever have; we will miss him so very much.

Survivors include his wife, Renette Camp; sons and daughter-in-law, Kent Camp and Jeff Camp and Toni Jové; daughter and son-in-law, Andi and
Bill Manuel; grandchildren, Morgan Manuel, Liam Manuel and Nathan Jové; brothers and sister-in-law, Harold and Pat Camp and Joe Bates, and several nieces and nephews.

No visitation is scheduled, and burial will be private.

A memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, at the Ft. Oglethorpe Church of Christ with minister C.G. Griffith officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity or church of your choice in memory of Mr. Camp.
