Willie O.V. Wheeler Wilkins, 81, of Cartersville, Ga., died on Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 at the local Health Care Center.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Cassville, Ga. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Webster and Mrs. Willie Green Wheeler.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Mr. Carl Wilkins, Sr.; one daughter, Mrs. Vanessa Hope (Guy) Green of Cartersville; three sons, Mr. Carl (Miriam) Wilkins, Jr. of Oxford, Ga., Mr. Myles Timothy (LaRuth) Wilkins of Acworth, Ga. and Mr. Blaine (Ingrid) Wilkins of New York; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Mae Callahan of Cartersville and Ms. Ruth Wheeler; two brothers, Mr. James H. (Barbara) Wheeler of Cassville and Mr. Sam (Barbara) Wheeler of Cincinnati, Oh.; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Homegoing Service will be Sunday, Feb. 13, at 2 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 106 Fire Tower Road, Cassville, Ga. with Pastor William Reed officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church Saturday, Feb. 12 from 5-7 p.m. Interment will follow in Cassville Cemetery.
