Ruth Zimny
Ruth Elizabeth Zimny, 97, of Red Bank, died on Monday, May 16, 2011.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, she lived in the Chattanooga area most of her life and was a member of White Oak United Methodist Church.
She was the wife of the late Zygmunt Zimny.
Survivors include her son, David Zimny and wife, Elaine of Canton, Ga.; daughter, Kathleen Line and husband, Mike of Knoxville; grandchildren, Stephen Zimny and wife Carol of North Carolina, Daniel Zimny and wife, Ellen of Georgia, and Ashley Line of Florida; and four great-grandchildren, Daniel and Rebecca Zimny and Christopher and Michael Lyon.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 23, at White Oak United Methodist Church, 2232 Lyndon Avenue, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415, with Reverend Amy Whatley officiating.
Visitation will follow in the fellowship hall.
