Thomas Keaton
Thomas Goodwin Keaton, 76, of Collegedale, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, February 28, 2012.
He served in the United States Air Force in the Air Police stationed in Lincoln, Ne. Mr. Keaton was employed by the Collegedale Police Department as an officer and became police chief from 1975 to1990. He was a member of Ooltewah Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Martha Keaton; brother, Donald Keaton; sister, Fran Smith, and a nephew, Donnie Keaton, all of Roanoke, Va.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marlene Peters Keaton; son, Tom H. (Trudi) Keaton, Collegedale; daughters, Teresa Miller, Chattanooga, Karen Keaton, Conyers, Ga.; six grandchildren, Tom E. Keaton, Brentwood, Tn., Matthew Keaton, Collegedale, Jonathan Miller, Chickamauga, Corey Miller, Savannah, Ga., Jarrod Miller, Lookout Mountain, Ga., Jennifer Farrow, Chattanooga; two great-grandchildren; niece, Pam DiLauro, Virginia and nephew, Steve Smith, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, at Ooltewah Seventh-day Adventist Church, 9209 Amos Road, Ooltewah, with Pastor Mike Pettengill officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 3, from 4–8 p.m., and Sunday one hour prior to the service at the church.
