Cross Outpolls Incumbent Cannon In GOP Race For Dade County Sheriff To Set Up Runoff

Ray Cross outpolled Dade County Sheriff Patrick Cannon in Tuesday's Republican primary. to set up a runoff

It was 1,412 for Cross to 1,090 for Cannon. 

Tim McDonald had 445 and Nathan Baker 410.

Former Sheriff Phil Street awaits the winner.

Incumbent County Clerk Kathy Page defeated Beverly Floyd and Carolyn Lane.

In County Commission District 4, Allan Bradford finished well ahead of incumbent Peter Cervelli - 1,951 to 1,227.

For School Board District 3, it was John Warren 1,218, Ronnie Page 1,037 and Julie Williams 848.

For School Board District 5, incumbent David Powell had 1,228 to finish ahead of  Careyee Bell who was second with 1,046.

Others were Dallas Walker 410 and Joseph Chambers 285.
