Less than 24 hours after Chattanooga firefighters responded to a fire at 111 Baker Street in North Chattanooga, they had to go back again Wednesday afternoon.

Around 1:30 p.m., the Chattanooga Fire Department was dispatched to the same location after someone called 911 saying they could see smoke coming from the house. Commander Don Eaves with Engine 12 said that when they entered the house, they found a small fire on the living room floor. They extinguished the fire in seconds.

Lt. Henry McElvain with the Fire Investigation Division said it was obvious that the fire was intentionally set, but no arrests have been made yet.

Anyone with information that could help the investigators is urged to call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423 698-2525.
