Lou Ann Brock
Southern Tool Steel, a steel service center specializing in cut pieces, has named Lou Ann Brock as its new purchasing manager. Ms. Brock has been with STS for over two years. She oversees the purchasing of materials to maintain inventory levels and compiles purchase orders for requested materials of non-stock items.
Ms. Brock joined Southern Tool Steel in 2011 as a purchasing agent and was promoted to assistant purchasing manager in September 2012. She has over 10 years of experience in purchasing and worked for a steel tubing manufacturer before she joined STS. Ms. Brock graduated from Sequatchie County High School and resides in Pikeville with her husband and two sons.
“I’m excited to be a part of the management team. I plan to make a lot of positive changes to the buying process and look forward to the challenges ahead and facing them head on with a great team,” said Ms. Brock.
