Gloria A Welter, 89, of Chattanooga, died on August 16, 2013 at a local health care facility.
She was a longtime resident of Chattanooga. Gloria loved to paint and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene J. Welter, and daughter, Marsha Jean Welter.
Surviving relatives are her son, Gene Welter of Chattanooga, daughters, Laurie (Jim) Cain of Chattanooga, Julie Jarrell, of Hiram, Ga.; grandchildren, Jeremy( Stacie) Cain, Jason (Chelsey) Cain, Justin Cain, David Jarrell, Jeffrey Jarrell, Tina Jarrell (Tim) Smith, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18, at Heritage Funeral Chapel with Pastor Chuck Patrick, officiating. The interment will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday August 20, 2013 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
