Crime Stoppers Looks For Whole Food Thieves

  • Wednesday, August 21, 2013

Crime Stoppers and the Chattanooga Police Department are seeking information regarding a theft from a person shopping at Whole Foods downtown.

The victim said that while she was shopping two women approached her and asked her several questions about different items.  The victim engaged them in conversation for several minutes.  When attempting to check out, the victim realized that her wallet had been taken from her purse.

The two women distracted the victim long enough to take her wallet as she had her back turned during the conversation.  The two suspects went to Wal-Mart and purchased gift cards with the credit cards obtained in the theft.

The suspects are two large black females, both wearing sun-dresses, and one of the dresses was tie-died or multicolored.  They were seen getting into a silver Ford Focus.

To report information on this theft, call Crime Stoppers.  The confidential call could result in a cash reward.  Call Crime Stoppers at 698-3333.
