Woman Is Carjacked At Gunpoint In Memorial Hospital Parking Garage

A woman was carjacked at gunpoint in a parking garage at Memorial Hospital on Sunday night, Chattanooga Police said.

The incident happened at 10:07 p.m.

Police said a 26-year-old female had just reached her vehicle, which was in the parking garage, when she was approached by a black male armed with a handgun.

The suspect stole her car and fled the scene.

Patrol officers located the stolen car in the 7700 block of Lee Highway.

No arrest has been made as of yet.

The victim was uninjured.

The suspect description was: B/M 18-25, 5’6” to 5’8” tall, medium build, and a low haircut.
