Truck Driver Killed, 4 Passengers Hurt In I-24 Wreck In Marion County

The driver was killed and four passengers were injured when a semi-truck went down an embankment on I-24 in Marion County late Tuesday night.

Killed was Jimmy Dodd, 64, from Milwaukee.

The injured passengers, also from Milwaukee, are Otis Moffett, 71, Willie J. Hollins, 58, Reggie Davis, 43 and Jewell Triplett, 69.

The truck filled with furniture was headed to Atlanta.

The victim was thrown from the vehicle. No one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt.
