Police Blotter: Jeep Stolen From Parkridge Lot Winds Up In Grundy County

Police said a Jeep stolen off the employee parking lot at Parkridge Hospital wound up in Grundy County.

Patrick McIntyre said after his shift he returned to the lot to find the Jeep gone.

A video showed two white males walk into the lot and inspect the Jeep. They moved away, then returned and drove off in it.

Police put out the word that the Jeep was stolen, and Grundy County officers spotted it.

Police said Timothy Dee Dent was arrested.

At the Walmart on Signal Mountain Road, two black males were seen going out a fire exit.

They were toting a 42" Sanyo flat screen television.

The pair shoved it into a waiting Lincoln Continental driven by a third person and sped away.

A woman said she dropped her wallet on the lot at the Exxon on 4th Avenue. She did not notice until later that it was missing.

An employee saw a black male wearing a sweater with a hoodie in possession of the wallet. He ran off with it.

The woman was notified that the wallet was found near Burger King.

Everything was still inside - except for the $300 she had just gotten by cashing her paycheck.

Police checked out a disturbance at Chee Burger Chee Burger near the Aquarium.

Officers said Kevin Jones was very intoxicated and belligerent to the public and the police.

After he was placed in a police car, he kicked at the rear window, damaging it and the door.

Jones was charged with public intoxication and vandalism.

The manager at Rock Creek on Manufacturers Road reported seeing a white female concealing items.

When she tried to exit, the $270 in unpaid merchandise sent off the alarms.

Hannah Ellis was charged with theft.

A woman said her daughter had her cell phone stolen at East Ridge High School.

Using a location app, police were able to trace the phone to Tacoa Park.

It was arranged for the phone to ring, and it went off in the pocket of a fellow East Ridge High student who was at the park. The student said he found the phone and neglected to give it back.

The family got the phone back and declined to prosecute.
