Crime Stoppers and the Chattanooga Police Department are seeking information on the men responsible for a violent armed robbery of Burger King at 1097 Engle Ave. on May 1.
At around 11:45 p.m., three black men entered the restaurant. It was after closing and they gained entry by throwing a rock through the glass door. They held employees inside at gunpoint for 15 to 20 minutes, at different times throwing them down, manhandling them, and pointing the weapons at their faces. The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
This robbery and the way it was committed are similar to several others that have happened around Chattanooga over the last year, said police.
The suspects are three black men with effective disguises including gloves, face masks, and hoodies.
