State, County Will Not Be Part Of County School Lawsuit Against City

Chancellor Jeff Atherton has ruled that the state and the county are not necessary parties for the lawsuit brought by the Hamilton County Schools against the city of Chattanooga.

The county school system is claiming it is owed over $11 million in liquor tax funds.

The city had responded by saying that other governmental units should be added to the litigation.
