Bernice Rendleman
Bernice W. Rendleman, 94, of Fort Oglethorpe, died on Saturday, July 12, 2014 surrounded by her family.
Bernice was a member of the Lakeview First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Son Shiners Group. Bernice was also a member of the Garden Club. Each month she enjoyed her meeting at Park Place Restaurant with the Son Shiners Group as well as her monthly meeting at Wally’s Restaurant with her Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, William D. Rendleman; daughters, Mary Walden and Edna Ware; son, Bobby Walden; parents, Robert Wise and Anna Wise Goodwin; brothers, Mark and Frank Goodwin; sister, Margaret Wise; and one great grandson.
Survivors include her daughters, Joyce (Doyle) Spangler and Virginia Fulton; son, Mark (Nancy) Walden; stepsons, Terry and William D. Rendleman, Jr.; step-daughter, Ann Rendleman; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Reverend Patrick Cooper officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 14, from 4-7 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory,at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
