Martha “Marthee” Massingill, 77, of Harrison, died on Friday, Nov. 27.
She was a lifelong resident of Harrison and was born to the late Taylor and Nellie Massingill.
Marthee was preceded in death by her stepmother, Dorothy Massingill, brothers, Edward and Donald Massingill, stepbrother, John Hunley, stepsister, Lucille Hendricks, and a special sister-in-law, Sara Massingill.
Survivors include five brothers, James Massingill, Roger (Margaret) Massingill, Jerry Massingill, Robert (Vanessa) Massingill and Ricky Massingill, seven sisters, Judy (Gene) Helton, Jenny White, Kathleen (Howard) Knox, Nellie (Robert) Evans, Ellie Mae (Kenneth) Copeland, Maria (Randy) Graves and Barbara (Donnie) Blackwell, a special nephew, Terry Massingill, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, at Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Kenneth Copeland. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga Memorial Park.
